'tis very true. I ended up doing an entire GCSE art unti on wings and feathers and the first thing I did was look into the structure of wings and do sketchs of first the bones structure and then how the different feather fitted together and how many there were ect. It helps so mutch to do this kind of thing and to know how the anatomy fits together.

I see your point there! XDDD Though it differs from artist to artist. Some try their best to draw proper wing anatomy whereas others completely fail.
