This is Set (Seth in french/ Swtḫ in egyptian) the Egyptian god of Chaos and destruction. Master of the Red sands and thunderstorms. But also the protector of the Solar Bark, who fights Apophis the serpent god every night. I always had the feeling that a god of Chaos and destruction had to be insane. And although it's not really the case in the myths i wanted to make a picture that conveys this idea. Noone really knows what Set is supposed to look like. So I just...tried to keep the shape of his head and had fun. Hope you like it. Photoshop CS3 + pencil sketch ___________________________________________ I was stuck in an art block these days... And I had to work so i didn't have much time for art but i'm actually working on a lot of pictures now. I received a lot of advice on conceptart.org that helped me improve the pic and fix the errors  And now i'm going to hide and moan in the dark because i have an horrible migrain. |
