A quick unfinished portrait of Shü.
working size. (20 mins or so)

I was trying to apply my acrylic painting techniques to digital. I like it when you can see brush strokes but or some reason I always make it all too smooth with photoshop.
And I still can't find the tones and colors i use for skin traditionally.

But i'm starting to enjoy portraits...

Really nice brushstrokes and colours. I also like being able to see your sketch lines.
I can never get skin tones right. Yours looks great though. :)

I need to work more on portraits, while painting this I had my Bouguereau book open on the desk, it helped me greatly with the skintones :)

But i probably won't finish it... I want to try to make quick pictures, quick portraits to practice before trying to make better polished picture.
