From the depths of your shattered mind
Sealed memories of ancient times shall arise
Forgotten creatures are whispering to your ears waiting for your awakening.
And the Shadows in your heart remains.
From the abysses, into the immemorial snows
Relentless laments.

Remember who I am
Darkness has always been part of you
Flying Across the darkened skies
I'm calling you, tearing the veil of ignorance and hypocrisy as night falls upon this perverted lands
Never forget who you are
Listen to the chant of the Chimera.

PS : various stock pictures
But I can't remember where I took the Raven...

Know thyself and be still.
Nice pic, the raven looks like he has no idea that he represents death or dispair to some people.
yes...this is why i chosed a close-up of the Raven. He is noble, powerfull and wise...
The feeling is very different from the images we are used to. You know the "dark bad evil gothic raven" stuff. Well, I am a crow/raven lover (so I like it too :p)

But I think this images has something different.
We can see every feather, look deep into his eyes...
anyway thank you...

I wish I could find the name of the photographer who took the photo...The original one is very beautifull.

Really nice picture, the Raven has a very nice pose (heheh its eye seems fixed on you when you look at it), and the background also blends real well with it and is very detailed.

I’ve always liked Ravens and Wolves, the two tricksters of legend. I have only had the pleasure of seeing one Raven up close that I knew for certain was a Raven and not a Crow. It’s really surprising (for me at least) how big Ravens can actually get, they also have a very interesting behavior to them and mannerisms.

What kind of camera do you use? And where are you in your webcam pic on DA, looks like a really beautiful place. Never seen anything quite like it in America.
Yeah, I enjoy the dark themed stories and art using Ravens and Crows but the reality of the family of birds is a very different thing. It’s much harder to find Ravens in comparison to crows but they are an amazing animal. They’re very intelligent, I’ve seen videos of them getting trash cans open, dropping mussels onto roads to crack them open, and burying extra food to save for later. Perhaps the thing I like the most about them is that they are solitary birds, unlike crows, and always seem to have a very calm yet watchful demeanor to them. If a person can manage finding a Raven they are definitely an amazing bird to watch.
Well I should have specified it...
This is a photomanipulation, no texture nor photos used for this picture are mine. They come from various different stocks. But I really can't remember from where this raven come from. :/ So I just played with photoshop. No great work in fact.
I really need to make me a new ID..

And that photo on the webcam shot was taken in the Dunas de Liencres natural park in Spain where my grand mother lives. This is the north of spain with an oceanic climat (means rain all the year and cold). It is a very very beautiful place.

Well I know that. And this is the reason why i really love them. I'm not like all those gothic freaks that see a black bird (most of the time a crow) and say "ahaha I love Ravens! They are dark and evil like death!!" and other stupid stuff.
I havn't always loved crows and ravens. I like birds, I love to watch them fly, especially crows and seagulls.
But, when I was in japan, I saved the life of a Raven, not a crow... A very huge Raven, i had the fealing to have a cat in my arms....
And since this day, every time I see a Raven or a crow, something good will happen. I love to watch them, draw them and just listen to their morning calls...They are incredibly amazing creatures.

Ahh really. My sister is going to college in Spain and has been trying to get me to visit, I didnt know it had such a beautiful landscape but then again I guess most places do if your willing to go look for it. Well if I ever end up putting the money towards flying out there I'll have to try and have a look at that area, some of the best memories I have are of simple things like merely standing among a beautiful landscape.
Yes, I love Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia... The spanish "celtic" culture area...
